Roles & Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding available programs and career
outcomes.
- Guide students in identifying their interests, skills, and career goals.
- Support admissions by converting leads through effective counseling and follow-ups.
- Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions to provide clarity on course selection.
- Coordinate with academic and placement teams to ensure student career success.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and career guidance sessions.
- Maintain accurate student counseling records and provide regular updates to
management.
- Handle student queries and resolve concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Stay updated with industry trends to provide relevant career advice.
Skills Required
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to counsel students and motivate them towards achieving their goals.
- Good knowledge of the education/training sector and career opportunities.
- Strong presentation and persuasion skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Qualification
- Graduate / postgraduate in any discipline.
- MBA or equivalent qualification preferred
Experience
- 2 - 5 years of experience in student counseling, career guidance, or education sector
