About the Role

We are looking for a data-driven and execution-focused Category Executive to support our Category Management team. You will act as the operational backbone for the category, handling day-to-day vendor coordination, cataloging, inventory tracking, and sales analytics to drive category growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Category Operations & P&L; Support
- Assist the Category Manager in tracking daily sales, margins, and revenue metrics.
- Execute daily pricing updates, promotional campaigns, and discount structures accurately on the platform.
- Create and update routine trackers to monitor contribution margins and profitability.

2. Assortment Tracking & Cataloging
- Conduct routine checks to identify selection gaps and stock requirements across hero and rapid-moving SKUs.
- Facilitate new product listings, product image uploads, and description auditing.
- Help execute launches for new subcategories or private labels.

3. Vendor Coordination & Onboarding
- Act as the primary point of contact for daily vendor queries, PO follow-ups, and documentation.




- Facilitate vendor onboarding protocols (collecting compliance documents, setting up system profiles).
- Support negotiations for regular purchase terms, stock availability, and deliveries.

4. Inventory & Fill Rate Tracking
- Collaborate with the supply chain and warehouse teams to monitor inventory fill rates and reduce Out-of-Stock (OOS) scenarios.
- Track aging inventory and flag slow-moving SKUs for clearance or liquidation.

5. Business Reporting & Analytics
- Extract raw data and maintain visual performance dashboards (daily, weekly, and monthly trackers).
- Experience: 3 to 4 years in E-commerce, D2C retail, or Category operations.
- Technical Skills: Strong command over Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, formula crunching) and dashboard handling is a must.
- Background Preference: Personal Care, Beauty background is highly preferred.
