The Designer will develop and execute comprehensive design solutions for residential and commercial renovation projects. This role involves taking a project from initial client consultation and conceptual design to drafting construction documents, sourcing materials, and supervising on-site work to ensure design intent is realized.

Key Responsibilities
- Design Development & Visualization: Create 2D layouts and 3D renderings (using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit) to help clients visualize the final space.
- Space Planning: Reconfigure existing spaces to optimize traffic flow, functionality, and comfort.
- Construction Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings and specifications (blueprints) for contractors, including electrical, plumbing, lighting, and millwork details.
- Material Selection & Sourcing: Curate and source materials, fixtures, fittings, and finishes (FF&E;), ensuring they meet both aesthetic goals and budgetary constraints.
- Site Supervision & Compliance:



Visit job sites to ensure work aligns with design specifications and adheres to local building codes and safety regulations.
- Project Management: Collaborate with general contractors, project managers, and vendors to ensure projects are completed within time and budget constraints.
- Client Management: Translate client visions into functional designs, presenting mood boards and design proposals while managing expectations.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD), 3D modelling tools (SketchUp), and rendering software (Revit, V-Ray).
- Construction Knowledge: Solid understanding of building techniques, structural limitations, and materials.
- Creativity & Spatial Awareness: High-level ability to plan layouts and conceptualize aesthetic themes.
