Job DescriptionJob Title: IT Service Owner / Team Lead (Bridgehead)

Summary:
- Single point of contact between business and engineering for one delivery team.
- Combines business analysis, agile facilitation, and team coordination.
- Elicits and documents business requirements, translates them into testable user stories, facilitates Scrum/Kanban events, tracks flow metrics, removes impediments, and manages stakeholder communication.
- Ensures alignment with BMW enterprise architecture, compliance, and KPIs.
- Owns the technical vision and system architecture across APIs, cloud infrastructure, integrations, and GUI.
- Performs critical code reviews, defines coding standards, and mentors developers.
- Takes on hands-on development work alongside leadership duties.

Mandatory Skills _(in order of importance):_
- Requirements engineering (eliciting requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows)
- Agile frameworks & facilitation (Scrum, Kanban — planning, stand-ups, reviews,



retrospectives)
- Agile tooling (Jira — boards, backlogs, sprints, dashboards, reports)
- Flow metrics & visualization (throughput, lead time, cycle time, WIP, CFDs)
- Product domain knowledge (vehicle validation, test/defect management, e/e processes)
- Coaching & mentoring (team dynamics, conflict resolution, continuous improvement)
- Stakeholder management (cross-team coordination, management reporting, escalation)
- KPI & compliance reporting
- Software architecture & technical leadership experience
- TypeScript / JavaScript (full-stack)
- Node.js (Express.js, Apollo Server)
- React, GraphQL (Apollo Client)
- AWS CDK, Lambda, API Gateway, VPC, IAM (deep hands-on)
- MongoDB (Mongoose), PostgreSQL
- Secure software design (RBAC, JWT, OWASP)

Advantageous Skills:
- Cloud & technology awareness (AWS services, serverless, databases, GraphQL, React concepts)
