Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Optical Dispensing
- Greet and assist walk-in customers in a qualified manner.
- Encourage customers to undergo eye testing at the store.
- Understand and read optical prescriptions.
- Recommend suitable spectacle frames, lenses, contact lenses, and sunglasses.
- Explain product features, lens types, coatings, and benefits.
- Perform upselling and cross-selling of eyewear products.
- Guide customers in selecting appropriate frames and lenses.
- Ensure accurate order booking and prescription entry.
- Coordinate with lab/store team for order processing.
Billing & Cash Handling
- Manage billing and invoice generation.
- Handle cash, card, and digital payments.
- Perform daily cash tallying and reconciliation.
- Maintain proper cash counter management and transaction records.
- Ensure timely cash deposits.
Required Skills:
- Experience in optical retail sales / eyewear sales.
- Knowledge of spectacle frames, lenses, sunglasses, and contact lenses.
- Ability to read optical prescriptions.
- Experience in billing, cashiering, and cash handling.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Qualification
- Any Graduate / Diploma
- Optometry background is an added advantage
