Job Title: AC Mechanic / Refrigeration & A/C Technician

Location: All Pyramid Outlets, Ambala

Key Roles and Responsibilities

An AC Mechanic is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all air conditioning and refrigeration equipment to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency.

1. Installation, Maintenance, and Repair
- System Installation: Install current air conditioning units, including split systems, package units, ducted units, and window ACs, following manufacturer guidelines and blueprints.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all HVAC equipment (e.g., central plants, Air Handling Units, Fan Coil Units, VRV systems) to avoid system breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan. This includes:
- Cleaning and replacing air filters, coils, and condensate drains.
- Lubricating motors and inspecting belts and bearings.
- Checking and tightening all electrical connections.
- Component Repair: Repair or replace defective parts such as compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, capacitors, and relays.

Diagnostics and Troubleshooting
- System Analysis: Diagnose electrical and mechanical malfunctions in air-conditioning systems using diagnostic tools like multimeters, pressure gauges, and leak detectors.
- Performance Evaluation: Inspect and test HVAC components (compressors, motors, thermostats, fans) to assess system performance, temperature differentials, and airflow.
- Refrigerant Management: Test for refrigerant leaks, recover and recharge refrigerant according to environmental regulations.
3. Guest Service and Communication
- Guest Requests: Respond promptly and courteously to guest repair requests related to room temperature or AC performance.
- Issue Resolution: Communicate with guests and supervisors to resolve maintenance issues effectively, explaining problems and solutions in a clear, professional manner.
