Job Description - Room Service Attendant (In-Room Dining)

Department: Food & Beverage Service
Reporting To: Room Service Supervisor / F&B; Manager

Job Purpose

To provide prompt, courteous, and high-quality in-room dining service to guests, ensuring comfort, satisfaction, and adherence to hotel service standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Take room service orders accurately via phone or digital systems.
- Prepare trays and trolleys as per service standards and presentation guidelines.
- Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly and professionally.
- Ensure correct order, quality, temperature, and presentation before service.
- Explain dishes, set up meals in rooms, and ensure guest comfort.
- Clear trays and collect used service ware within the defined time.
- Handle guest requests and complaints politely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of pantry, trolleys, trays, and service areas.
- Ensure hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards (FSSAI & hotel SOP).
- Maintain proper billing procedures and obtain guest signatures.




- Coordinate effectively with kitchen, stewarding, and front office teams.
- Maintain grooming, hygiene, and professional conduct at all times.

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Qualification: 10th / 12th Pass / Diploma in Hotel Management
- Experience: 0-2 years in room service / F&B; service (Freshers can apply)

Salary & Benefits (CTC)
- Overall CTC: ₹18,000 - ₹22,000 per month _(including basic salary + service charge + tips + incentives)_
