Job Title: Accounts Executive / Sr. Accounts Executive

Reports To: Accounts Manager / Finance Manager / CFO

Job Summary

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day accounting records, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and supporting monthly and annual financial closing. The role requires hands-on experience in accounting software, GST compliance, and coordination with auditors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and vouchers:
- Record purchase, sales, expenses, and bank transactions:
- Ensure accurate accounting in Tally / ERP / accounting software:
- Maintain fixed asset register and account for depreciation

GST & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation)
- Reconcile input tax credit (ITC) and follow up on mismatches
- Maintain GST records and support during assessments / audits
- Handle TDS compliance (calculation, challans, returns - 24Q, 26Q)




- Support compliance under PF, ESI, Skilled Tax (if applicable)

Banking & Reconciliations
- Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS) regularly
- Reconcile cash, vendor, and customer accounts:
- Coordinate with banks for payments, statements, and confirmations

Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
- Track accounts receivable, follow up for collections
- Prepare aging analysis for debtors and creditors

Financial Reporting & Closing
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts:
- Prepare schedules for statutory audit, tax audit, and internal audit:
- Support preparation of MIS reports for management
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and documentation

Coordination & Support
- Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, auditors, and consultants:
- Support finance team in budgeting and cost analysis
- Assist in implementation of finance p
