Job Title: Floor Incharge
Department: Academic
Reporting To: Floor Incharge Team Leader

Job Purpose

The Floor Incharge is responsible for the effective supervision, safety, discipline, and smooth day-to-day operations of the assigned school floor. The role ensures coordinated communication among teachers, students, administration, and support teams, while maintaining a secure, clean, and well-managed learning setting.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Supervision and Monitoring
- Monitor classrooms, corridors, restrooms, and common areas to maintain discipline and prevent disturbances.
- Supervise student movement during class transitions, breaks, assemblies, and activities.
- Ensure students are present in assigned classrooms and activity areas at all times.

2. Coordination and Communication
- Act as a communication link between teachers, students, reception, coordinators, and administrative staff.
- Communicate announcements, instructions, and schedule changes effectively to teachers and students on the floor.




- Coordinate with reception to guide students to their assigned classrooms or activity areas.
- Work closely with teachers to support classroom management and student supervision.
- Assist in coordinating teachers’ schedules, duties, breaks, substitutions, and classroom allocations.
- Coordinate with other Floor Incharges for smooth inter-floor operations.

3. Safety, Security, and Medical Support
- Ensure the safety and security of students, teachers, and staff on the assigned floor.
- Monitor cleanliness and hygiene of classrooms, corridors, and restrooms.
- Provide immediate assistance during medical emergencies and coordinate with the medical room or hospital.
- Implement and monitor emergency procedures and evacuation protocols.
- Respond promptly to safety, security, or behavioral incidents.
- Track students sent to reception, coordinators, store, or medical room and ensure their timely return to class.
