Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (SVCE), Tirupati, is entering an exciting phase of institutional growth and transformation. We are looking for an accomplished HR Manager who can build a professional, people-centric and performance-driven HR function aligned with the institution's long-term vision.

This is an opportunity for an HR professional who wants to go beyond transactional HR and play a meaningful role in building the organisation, culture and leadership ecosystem of a large educational institution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPeople & Organisation

- Develop and strengthen HR systems, processes and policies across the institution.
- Work with leadership to define organisation structures, roles, responsibilities and reporting relationships.
- Drive manpower planning and talent acquisition across academic and non-academic functions.
- Build a strong talent pipeline for critical and leadership positions.

Talent & Performance

- Establish structured recruitment, onboarding and employee engagement processes.
- Strengthen performance management, KRAs and appraisal systems.
- Identify capability gaps and coordinate faculty/staff development initiatives.
- Develop mechanisms for employee recognition, retention and succession planning.

Culture & Employee Experience

- Build a professional, collaborative and accountable institutional culture.
- Improve employee communication and engagement.
- Establish effective grievance-resolution and employee-support mechanisms.




- Promote a culture of continuous learning and performance.

HR Operations

- Ensure effective HR documentation, records and compliance.
- Work closely with administration and leadership on workforce-related matters.
- Introduce HR dashboards and data-driven decision-making.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATEWe are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in HR management, preferably in education, large organisations or people-intensive institutions.
- Strong in talent acquisition and organisational development.
- Comfortable working with senior leadership and multiple stakeholders.
- Data-driven, structured and process-oriented.
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, mature and capable of working independently.
- Passionate about building institutions and people, not merely administering HR processes.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- MBA / PGDM / Master's degree in HR or equivalent.
- 8–15 years of relevant HR experience preferred.
- Experience in managing HR independently across a sizeable organisation is highly desirable.
- Experience in higher education / education institutions will be an advantage.
