Role Description The Human Resources Manager will oversee end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and compliance with organizational policies and labor regulations. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies, maintaining HR records and systems, managing compensation and benefits processes, and supporting training and development initiatives across campuses.

Manager will collaborate closely with academic and administrative leadership to address workforce planning, employee relations, and organizational development needs. This is a full time, on-site role based in Kolkata, requiring regular presence on campus and active interaction with faculty, staff, and management.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.




- Strong skills in HR policy development, compliance with labor laws and regulations, and maintenance of accurate HR documentation and records.
- Experience in compensation and benefits administration, HR data analysis, and use of HRIS or similar systems.
- Ability to design and support training, development, and engagement initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
- Proven organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; a master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is an advantage.
- Prior experience as an HR Manager or in a senior HR role, preferably in education, large organizations, or multi-site institutions.
- Minimum 5 Years of work experience
