Role Description The Human Resources Manager Industrial Relations will manage daily HR operations with a focus on industrial relations at the Dodda Ballapur facility in a full-time, on-site capacity.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing HR policies, maintaining harmonious labor relations, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. The role involves handling grievance redressal, conducting disciplinary procedures, and partnering with leadership to negotiate and manage union or worker council interactions where applicable.



The manager will oversee workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes, while fostering a secure, inclusive, and engaging work environment.

This position also requires preparing HR reports, supporting training and development initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align HR practices with organizational goals.

Qualifications

- Strong industrial relations expertise, including experience with labor laws, grievance handling, and negotiations with employee representatives or unions.
- Human resources management skills in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Knowledge of compliance, health and safety regulations, and HR policies and procedures relevant to plant operations.
- Ability to build constructive relationships with employees at all levels, demonstrating conflict resolution, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HR documentation, reporting, and use of HRIS or related systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience as an HR Manager or Industrial Relations specialist in manufacturing, automotive, electronics, or renewable energy industries is preferred.
- Capacity to work on-site in Dodda Ballapur and collaborate closely with operations, production, and leadership teams.
