The Maths Foundation Teacher is responsible for building robust conceptual clarity in Mathematics for middle and secondary school students (Classes VI-X), preparing them for higher-level competitive examinations such as JEE and other national-level entrance exams. The role focuses on strengthening fundamentals, logical reasoning, and problem-solving ability.

Key Responsibilities:1. Academic Delivery
- Teach Mathematics foundation curriculum for Classes VI-X.
- Build strong conceptual understanding aligned with CBSE and competitive exam patterns.
- Introduce early exposure to higher-order thinking and Olympiad-level problems.
- Prepare lesson plans with structured weekly and monthly academic planning.

2. Competitive Exam Orientation
- Prepare students for Foundation programs (JEE/NTSE/Olympiads).
- Conduct regular practice tests and analysis sessions.
- Train students in speed, accuracy, and exam temperament.
- Provide problem-solving strategies and shortcuts where appropriate.

3. Student Assessment & Monitoring
- Conduct periodic assessments, worksheets, and mock tests.




- Analyze student performance and identify learning gaps.
- Provide remedial support for slow learners and enrichment tasks for advanced learners.
- Maintain detailed performance records and academic tracking sheets.

4. Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and positive learning environment.
- Encourage interactive and discussion-based learning.
- Promote logical reasoning and analytical thinking.

5. Parent Communication
- Attend PTMs and communicate student progress effectively.
- Provide guidance to parents regarding foundation preparation.

6. Academic Coordination
- Participate in academic meetings, training sessions, and curriculum planning.
