About the Role

We are looking for an HR Intern who wants to understand how people and teams actually work inside a growing company.

This is not a role limited to recruitment calls, attendance sheets and routine HR administration. You will work closely with the core team, and get a first-hand view of how hiring decisions are made, how teams evolve, how people issues are handled and how a company's culture is built in practice.

You will be expected to take ownership of your work, ask questions and bring your own thinking to the table.

What You Will Do

- Support the complete recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to interview coordination and follow-ups
- Screen candidates and conduct initial conversations to understand their skills, motivation and fit
- Work with the Founder and team leads to understand hiring requirements and create relevant candidate profiles
- Help improve our hiring and onboarding processes
- Maintain candidate records, recruitment trackers and HR documentation
- Support employee onboarding and help current team members settle into the organisation
- Assist with day-to-day HR and people operations
- Work with different teams to understand employee needs and identify areas where HR can improve things
- Assist in employee engagement and internal communication initiatives
- Support performance review and feedback processes
- Work on specific HR projects based on the organisation's current needs




- Observe team dynamics and bring relevant people-related observations to the Founder/HR team
- Handle sensitive employee and candidate information with confidentiality

What We Are Looking For
- Someone pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Business Administration, Management or a related field
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good people skills and the ability to speak comfortably with different kinds of people
- Curiosity about how organisations and people work
- Good attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to organise multiple tasks without needing constant supervision
- Comfortable asking questions and expressing an opinion
- Basic understanding of MS Excel/Google Sheets and common office tools
- Prior internship or HR experience is useful, but not mandatory

The Kind of Person Who Will Do Well Here We are less interested in someone who already knows every HR process and more interested in someone who wants to learn how things work.
