POSITION
HR Executive – Technical & Defence Recruitment
Location: Hubli, Karnataka
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Experience: 2–5 years preferred
Qualification: MBA/PGDM – HR / HR-related qualification
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical & Defence Recruitment
- Recruit Mechanical Design Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, CNC/CAM Engineers, QA Engineers and other technical professionals
- Recruit Business Development Executives/Managers with experience in the Indian Defence sector
- Understand technical job descriptions and identify candidates with relevant engineering, manufacturing and defence-industry exposure
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, employee referrals and professional networks
- Build and continuously maintain a strong technical talent pipeline
Candidate Screening & Interviews
- Conduct structured telephonic and virtual interviews
- Evaluate candidates for technical exposure, communication, attitude, stability and role suitability
- Prepare and maintain candidate screening & evaluation records
- Coordinate technical interviews with department heads and management
- Follow up with shortlisted candidates through the complete recruitment cycle
HR Operations
- Manage offer letters, joining formalities, employee documentation and onboarding
- Maintain recruitment trackers, employee records and HR databases
- Coordinate attendance, leave, HRMS and routine HR activities
- Support employee engagement, training and performance-related processes
- Ensure recruitment activities are completed within defined timelines
SKILLSET WE ARE LOOKING FOR ✅ Strong English communication – spoken & written
✅ Excellent candidate interaction and interviewing skills
✅ Ability to understand technical/engineering job requirements
✅ Strong knowledge of recruitment platforms and LinkedIn hiring
✅ Experience in technical/manufacturing recruitment is highly preferred
✅ Ability to identify genuine technical skills rather than screening candidates only by keywords
✅ Good judgement, follow-up discipline and negotiation skills
✅ Comfortable conducting virtual interviews independently
✅ Strong MS Excel / Google Sheets skills
✅ Ability to work with multiple open positions and recruitment targets simultaneously
✅ Professional attitude, confidentiality and strong ownership
ADVANTAGE
Candidates with prior recruitment experience in:
Defence | Aerospace | Automotive | Precision Manufacturing | Engineering | CNC/VMC | Industrial Products will be preferred.
