Role Description The Hospital Pharmacist is a full-time, on-site role based at Tender Palm Super Speciality Hospital in Lucknow. The role includes reviewing and validating medication orders, ensuring safe and accurate dispensing of drugs, and providing pharmaceutical care to inpatients and outpatients.

The Hospital

Pharmacist will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to optimize medication therapy, monitor for drug interactions, and support medication reconciliation. Daily responsibilities also include managing inventory,



overseeing compounding of sterile and non-sterile preparations, maintaining regulatory and quality standards, and contributing to clinical protocols and patient education. The role requires active participation in multidisciplinary rounds and adherence to hospital policies and patient safety guidelines.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Pharmacy and Medicine, with the ability to interpret prescriptions and clinical information accurately.
- Proficiency in Pharmacy Practice and Pharmaceutical Care, including medication therapy management and patient counseling.
- Hands-on experience in Compounding, including preparation of individualized doses and adherence to sterile techniques.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/M.Pharm) from an accredited institution; registration with relevant pharmacy council.
- Knowledge of hospital formulary management, drug safety regulations, and infection control standards.
- Familiarity with electronic health records, pharmacy information systems, and inventory management tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary clinical setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and nights, as required.
- Previous experience as a hospital pharmacist or in a clinical pharmacy setting is an advantage.
