Role Description This full-time Homecare Nurse role is an on-site position based in Hyderabad, providing professional nursing care in clients’ homes under Apollo Home Healthcare protocols.

The Homecare

Nurse will perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor vital signs, and manage wound and post-surgical care. The role includes coordinating with physicians and other care team members to implement individualized care plans, documenting nursing interventions and patient responses accurately, and supporting safe transitions after hospital discharge.



The nurse will educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medication adherence, and preventive care, while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence.

The position also involves adhering to infection control standards, maintaining medical equipment and supplies, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Valid nursing qualification (GNM, B.Sc Nursing or equivalent) with current registration from the appropriate nursing council.
- Demonstrated clinical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and post-surgical and chronic disease management.
- Experience or strong interest in homecare, community nursing, or acute care settings, preferably with exposure to elderly and dependent care.
- Ability to work independently in patients’ homes while collaborating effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills to educate patients and caregivers and build trust in diverse home environments.
- Commitment to quality, patient safety, and adherence to clinical protocols, infection control guidelines, and documentation standards.
- Comfort with using basic digital tools or electronic health records for reporting, scheduling, and coordination of care.
- Flexibility to travel within Hyderabad for home visits and to work shifts, weekends, or holidays as service needs require.
- Prior experience with homecare services or Apollo systems is an advantage but not mandatory.
