Job Summary

Avron Hospital is looking for a qualified and dedicated Hospital Pharmacist to manage medication dispensing, inventory, and pharmaceutical services while ensuring patient safety and compliance with hospital policies and applicable regulations.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of medicines, prescriptions, drug storage, and hospital pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense medicines accurately as per valid prescriptions and hospital protocols.
- Verify prescriptions for correct dosage, medication, frequency, and potential drug interactions.
- Maintain proper records of medicines dispensed, received, and issued.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for medicines, including temperature-sensitive and high-alert medications.
- Monitor pharmacy inventory and maintain adequate stock levels.
- Check expiry dates and remove expired or damaged medicines from circulation.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication-related queries.
- Ensure compliance with hospital pharmacy policies, drug regulations, and safety standards.




- Maintain proper documentation for controlled drugs and scheduled medications.
- Participate in medication safety initiatives and prevent medication errors.
- Provide information and guidance regarding the proper use of medicines when required.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards in the pharmacy.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or Hospital Management.

Qualifications

- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institution.
- Valid State Pharmacy Council registration.
- Registered Pharmacist with a valid license to practice.
- Knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and pharmaceutical products.

Experience

- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Pharmacist, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
