NPosition Overview

nWe are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and versatile Video Editor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing visual storytelling to life by assembling raw footage, applying effects/graphics, optimizing sound, and delivering high-quality, engaging video content tailored across multiple digital platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Website, etc.).

NKey Responsibilities

nVideo Editing & Post-Production:

n
- Assemble, cut, and edit raw video footage into polished, cohesive visual pieces that align with brand guidelines and narrative objectives.
N
- Add subtitles, captions, lower thirds, call-outs, and appropriate sound effects (SFX) to enhance viewer engagement.
N
- Perform colour grading,colour correction, audio mixing, sound design, and light motion graphics/animations (limited basis)
N

nContent Strategy &Optimization;:

N

n
- Re-purpose long-form content (podcasts, webinars, interviews, keynotes) into high-engaging, short-form assets (Reels, Shorts).
N
- Adapt video formats, aspect ratios, and export settings tailored to specific digital platforms and technical specs.
N
- Stay up to date with emerging video trends, viral formats, editing techniques, and AI editing tools to continuously elevate content quality.
N

nCollaboration & Workflow:

N

n
- Work closely withcontent creators, copywriters, creative directors,



and marketing teams to turn concepts and briefs into finished video assets.
N
- Organize, archive, and manage raw media files, project assets, and project files efficiently.
N
- Incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders promptly and refine drafts through iteration cycles.
N

nKey Requirements &Qualifications;

NExperience:

N

n
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Video Editor or Content Creator in an agency, media company, or in-house marketing team.
N
- A solid portfolio or showreel demonstrating a wide range of editing styles, storytelling capabilities, and post-production techniques.
N

nTechnical Skills:

N

n
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.G., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro).
N
- Working knowledge of motion graphics software (e.G., Adobe After Effects).
N
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.G., Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva) for thumbnail design and visual assets.
N
- Sound understanding of audio tools (e.G., Adobe Audition, Audacity) and audio levelling.
N
- Familiarity with video encoding, codecs, frame rates, and export settings.
N

nSoft Skills:

- Strong sense of visual pacing, storytelling, rhythm, and attention to detail.
N
- Excellent time management and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
N
- Good communication skills and openness to creative feedback/critique.
