We are seeking an experienced Import Purchase Executive to join our furniture manufacturing team. This role will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and importing furniture components, raw materials, and finished goods from international suppliers.

Job Responsibilities:

- Identify and evaluate new suppliers for furniture components and raw materials (finished Products)
- Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and quality standards with suppliers
- Place purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Coordinate with logistics teams for import clearance and transportation
- Monitor market trends, prices, and availability of raw materials
- Ensure compliance with import regulations and company policies
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders

Visit countries like China, Vietnam etc. to find new supplier and their factories.

Requirements:

-5 years of experience in import purchasing,



preferably in the furniture industry

- Strong knowledge of international trade terms (Incoterms) and import regulations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office and purchasing software

Preferred
- Experience with furniture industry
- Knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes and materials
