About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HR Head to lead the people agenda for a large, established Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad with 3,000+ employees .

This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the overall people strategy, partnering closely with the GCC leadership team and business stakeholders, and building an organization that can scale effectively while maintaining a strong employee experience and high-performance culture.

The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in large-scale, complex organizations , with a strong track record of leading HR strategy, organizational transformation, talent management, employee engagement, leadership development, workforce planning and change management.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and drive the overall HR strategy and people agenda for the GCC in alignment with business priorities.
- Partner with the GCC leadership team and senior business stakeholders on organization strategy, workforce planning and capability building .
- Lead HR for a 3,000+ employee organization , managing the complexity associated with scale, multiple functions and diverse employee groups.
- Build and execute strategies across talent acquisition, talent management, succession planning, performance management and leadership development .
- Drive organizational effectiveness, workforce productivity and organizational design initiatives.
- Lead employee engagement, culture and retention initiatives across the centre.
- Partner with leadership on change management and transformation initiatives.




- Strengthen leadership capabilities and build a robust leadership and talent pipeline for the organization.
- Oversee and continuously improve HR policies, processes and employee experience.
- Use people analytics and workforce insights to support business and talent decisions.
- Ensure effective governance across HR operations, employee relations, compliance and other people-related areas.
- Lead, develop and mentor the HR leadership/team and establish a high-performing HR function.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience , with substantial experience in senior HR leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading HR for a large-scale organization/GCC , ideally with 2,000–3,000+ employees .
- Strong experience partnering with senior business leadership / executive stakeholders .
- Demonstrated expertise across HR strategy, talent management, organizational effectiveness, engagement, leadership development and change management .
- Experience working in a complex, matrixed and global environment .
- Strong business orientation with the ability to translate business strategy into actionable people priorities.
- Experience managing and developing HR teams and HR leadership capability .
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
- Candidates from large GCCs, global organizations, technology/IT services, financial services or other complex multinational environments would be preferred.
