Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Head Approval to lead and manage all statutory approvals and regulatory processes for projects in UP. The role will be based in UP, with responsibility for handling end-to-end approval activities, liaisoning with authorities, and ensuring timely compliance for projects in UP.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the complete approval lifecycle for projects.
- Liaise with government departments, local authorities, and regulatory bodies in Maharashtra.
- Obtain all necessary statutory approvals, permits, and clearances within defined timelines.
- Ensure compliance with state and central regulations.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as legal, project, land, and engineering.
- Maintain and manage all documentation related to approvals and compliance.
- Track progress of approvals and resolve any issues or delays proactively.
- Stay updated with regulatory policies, government norms, and approval procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders and authorities.
- Lead and mentor the approvals team, ensuring efficiency and accountability.

Required Skills & Competencies:





- Strong knowledge of approval processes and regulatory frameworks in UP.
- Excellent liaisoning, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong leadership and team handling ability.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualification & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in approvals, liaisoning, or regulatory roles.
- Experience in infrastructure, energy or renewable energy projects preferred.
- Experience dealing with UP government authorities is prefered.

Other Requirements:

- Willingness to travel frequently to UP
- Solid network with government bodies will be an added advantage.

Preferred candidate profile

- Minimum 7 years of experience in approvals, liaisoning, or regulatory roles.
- Experience in infrastructure, energy or renewable energy projects preferred.
- Experience dealing with UP government authorities is prefered.
