Your Tasks –
Responsible for electrical wiring harness design and development, including routing, packaging, fixation, and vehicle integration using CATIA V5. Ensure 3D/2D design, DMU checks, manufacturing feasibility, documentation release, and compliance with automotive standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve packaging, assembly, serviceability, and engineering change-related issues.

- Electrical Distribution System (EDS)
- 3D Modeling and 2D Drawing Preparation
- Harness Fixation, Clipping & Protection Concept Design
- Vehicle Integration and Packaging Studies
- DMU Analysis and Interference Check
- DFMEA and Problem-Solving Techniques
- Release Management and Engineering Change Management (ECN/ECR)
- Manufacturing Feasibility and Assembly Validation
- ENOVIA, Teamcenter (PLM Tools)
Your qualification/ minimum requirements -
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3 to 8 years of experience in electrical wiring harness design, routing, and installation for commercial vehicles, automotive, or off-highway applications.
- Experience in cabin harness packaging, routing, fixation strategy, and installation feasibility studies.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical architecture, harness manufacturing, assembly processes, and vehicle integration.
- Hands-on experience in CATIA V5 Electrical Harness Installation (EHI) workbench with good knowledge of Assembly Design, Drafting, Drawing, and basic Sheet Metal Design.
- Experience in creating and releasing 2D installation drawings and manufacturing documentation.
- Basic understanding of Capital Harness, electrical schematics, and component selection methodologies.
- Knowledge of wiring harness components such as wires, connectors, relays, fuses, protective coverings, and fixation elements.
- Familiarity with automotive standards related to wiring harness design, EMC, thermal protection, durability, and safety requirements.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including Electrical Systems, Vehicle Integration, Interior, BIW, Production, e.t.c.
- Ability to identify and resolve packaging, assembly, serviceability, and manufacturing-related issues.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
