Job Role : Green Hydrogen Engineer

#Notice Period - Immediate to 30 Days

Location - Bangalore (5 days WFO)

ECTC : Depends on Exp level and Skills

Experienced 8 to 12 yrs as a Green Hydrogen Engineer to own commissioning readiness for our unprecedented 500 MW #greenhydrogen production-to-storage facility. Serving as the owners technical focal point, you will drive EPC contractors and electrolyser ,OEMs from mechanical completion and pre-commissioning through to first #hydrogen, #performancetesting, and operations handover.

#PlantScope & Boundaries - You will govern #commissioning across the following integrated systems: Production: 500 MW electrical input utilizing #PEM (variable) and #AWE (baseload) electrolysis, including water polishing, rectifiers, and #coolingutilities.

Conditioning & Storage: Gas-liquid separation, drying, compression, and 350-bar Type IV composite buffer storage.

Safety & Interfaces: Vent/relief systems, fire/gas detection, Emergency Shutdown (ESD), and hydrogen delivery at the CCGT/ SOFC battery limits

Job Responsibilities -

1. Commissioning Preparation & Site Readiness

a) Develop system-wise commissioning plans, readiness checklists, and punch lists, translating approved P&IDs; . b) Track commissioning schedules, vendor mobilization, and spares,



coordinating seamlessly with the Green Hydrogen Project Manager and Central Program Manager.
1. Pre-Commissioning & Cold Commissioning

b) Govern cleaning, flushing, leak testing, and purging through approved procedures, ensuring all deficiencies are closed before release. c) Support OEM-led commissioning of critical utilities (cooling, nitrogen, control systems) and coordinate transformer-rectifier checks with the Electrical & Power Engineer.
1. First Hydrogen & Electrolyser Startup

a) Partner with OEMs to execute approved first-hydrogen sequences, strictly tracking output purity, moisture limits, and analyzer performance before admitting gas to storage.
1. Compression & Storage Commissioning

a) Coordinate #OEMtesting for hydrogen compressors and associated coolers, separators, and protective controls, investigating any deviations in energy consumption or leak integrity. b) Govern the #rigoroustesting of the 350-bar Type #IVstorage systems coordinating initial filling, cycling tests, bank sequencing, and maintaining strict cycle-life and operating records.
