nThe Sanmar Group is hiring a high-performing, outcome-oriented Visual Storyteller who can collaborate with the content and digital/Web experts to produce elegant, appealing designs for the requirements of Group Corporate and Individual businesses, helping articulate across physical, digital and social platforms.

nThis role, located in Chennai, is ideal for someone who holds 5-7 years of demonstrable experience in enabling businesses and Talent Brand tell their story visually – be it a billboard, the main banner at a packed exhibition, the cover page of an annual report, a social media poster or short video, an Insta Reel, or an organisation-wide email communique.

nRole: Visual Storyteller: Graphic Designer, video creator/editor and magazine production expert

nType of Employment: Full-time, Work from Office

nExp: 5-7 years

nTech Skill requirements: Adobe suite Pro [Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro & After Effects], Figma [or equivalent], DaVinci Resolve (or equivalent). AI-powered storytelling is a must-have.

nRole Overview & Key Responsibilities

n

- Design and produce an in-house magazine and one external publication on a bi-monthly and quarterly basis respectively
n
- Create marketing and corporate collaterals such as brochures,



flyers, print materials including support for Annual Reports and event communication assets
n
- Develop digital communication assets for platforms such as LinkedIn, including employee communication initiatives
n
- Translate complex information into transparent and compelling visual narratives
n
- Maintain consistency in branding, typography, layouts, and visual language across all outputs
n
- Manage multiple projects while delivering high‐quality work within timelines.
n

nKey Skills and Requirements

n

n
- 5 to 7 years of experience as a visual designer, preferably in an Agency environment with experience handling multiple clients, corporate and editorial environments.
n
- Strong editorial sensibility with hands‐on experience in magazine or long‐format publication design
n
- High proficiency in the Adobe suite: Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, etc.
n
- Experience with video and audio editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, or DaVinci Resolve;

Experience in web layout design such as Figma or equivalent is valued.

- Strong attention to detail, layout, typography, and visual storytelling

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with internal teams
