Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop power and distribution transformers as per customer requirements and applicable standards.

- Prepare electrical design calculations, specifications, and technical documents.

- Prepare and review electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and BOMs.

- Design transformer components such as:

- Core and winding

- LV/HV windings

- Insulation system

- Tap changer arrangements

- Bushings and terminals

- Earthing arrangements

- Protection and accessories

- Prepare GA drawings and manufacturing drawings in coordination with mechanical/design teams.

- Select suitable electrical materials and components based on technical requirements.

- Review customer specifications and prepare designs accordingly.

- Ensure designs comply with relevant IS/IEC standards and company specifications.

- Coordinate with Production, Quality,



Purchase, Testing, and Projects teams for smooth execution.

- Review design changes and provide technical solutions for manufacturing issues.

- Support testing and resolve design-related issues during routine and type testing.

- Maintain design records, drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.

- Work on AutoCAD and other engineering/design software as required.

- Participate in continuous improvement of transformer designs, cost optimization, and product quality.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
