Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Gold Loan Officer role based in Delhi, India.
The Gold Loan
Officer will handle customer inquiries, explain gold loan products, and guide customers through the loan application and documentation process.
Responsibilities include assessing and appraising gold jewelry, verifying authenticity and quality, and determining loan eligibility in line with company policies and RBI guidelines. The role involves processing loan applications, maintaining accurate records, monitoring repayments, and supporting collection efforts when required.

Officer will also assist in branch-level sales activities, build customer relationships,
and ensure adherence to compliance and security standards.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain loan terms clearly and build trust with diverse customers.
- Basic financial and lending knowledge, including understanding of interest rates, loan documentation, and RBI/NBFC regulatory norms.
- Ability to appraise gold jewelry accurately, with attention to detail and adherence to company procedures and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in record-keeping, data entry, and use of basic computer applications and branch management systems.
- Comfort working in a branch environment, with the ability to work under targets and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in gold loans, retail banking, NBFC operations, or customer-facing financial services will be an advantage.
- Fluency in local languages and English, with integrity, reliability, and a solid focus on compliance and ethical conduct.
