About Role:

We are looking for a GMB & SEO Specialist with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Google Business Profile (GMB), Local SEO, and Search Engine Optimization.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of GMB optimization, Google Maps ranking, keyword research, On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, Technical SEO, competitor analysis, and SEO performance tracking.

We are looking for someone who can go beyond routine execution, someone who can create effective strategies, analyze performance, guide the team, solve SEO/GMB challenges, and deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

Google Business Profile (GMB) / Local SEO

- Create, optimize, and manage Google Business Profiles for multiple clients.
- Develop strategies to improve Google Maps & Local Pack rankings.
- Conduct local keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Optimize categories, services, descriptions, posts, images, reviews, and other profile elements.
- Monitor rankings, calls, website visits, direction requests, and enquiries.
- Identify and resolve GMB issues such as suspensions, verification problems, duplicate listings, and ranking drops.

SEO

- Develop and implement SEO strategies based on business objectives and search intent.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, SEO audits, and gap analysis.
- Handle On-Page, Off-Page & Technical SEO.
- Plan content optimization, internal linking, citations, and quality link-building strategies.
- Monitor rankings, organic traffic, backlinks, conversions, and overall SEO performance.
- Identify ranking drops and implement corrective strategies.
- Use tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other SEO platforms.

AI Tools & Prompting

- Practical knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, or similar platforms.
- Ability to create effective AI prompts / prompt engineering for SEO and digital marketing.
- Use AI for keyword research, competitor analysis, content planning, SEO audits, research, reporting, and productivity.




- Understand how AI can improve SEO workflows while maintaining quality, accuracy, originality, and human judgment.
- Stay updated with AI-driven changes in search and digital marketing.

Strategy & Team Guidance:

The candidate should be able to take ownership of:

Analyze → Strategize → Execute → Monitor → Optimize → Deliver Results

- Create practical, result-oriented SEO/GMB strategies.
- Guide the execution team and prioritize tasks.
- Review team output and maintain quality standards.
- Analyze performance and recommend improvements.
- Train and support junior team members.
- Coordinate with content, development, and other internal teams.
- Take ownership of campaign performance and results.
- You should have the ability to handle more than 20 digital marketing services clients individually.

Requirements:

- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in GMB, Local SEO, and SEO
- Robust knowledge of Google Business Profile & Google Maps ranking
- Good understanding of On-Page, Off-Page & Technical SEO
- Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, etc.
- Strong keyword research and competitor analysis skills
- Knowledge of local citations, NAP management, and link building
- Good understanding of Google Search Console & Google Analytics
- Knowledge of AI tools and prompt engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and team coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities




- Result-oriented and proactive mindset
- Digital marketing agency experience will be an added advantage

- Organic traffic and website visibility
- GMB calls, website visits, direction requests, and enquiries

Educational qualification

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, IT, Business, or a related field is preferred.
