Role Description The General Manager is a full-time, in office role based at Orchha Palace and Resorts in Orchha. This role oversees day-to-day operations across all departments, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include managing staff performance, coordinating front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance activities, and monitoring budgets, revenue, and cost control.

The General

Manager leads strategic planning, implements policies and procedures, and drives initiatives to improve guest experience, operational efficiency, and brand reputation. The role also involves building strong relationships with guests, vendors,



and local partners, handling escalated issues, and ensuring compliance with hospitality regulations and company standards.

- Strong leadership, team management, and people development skills.
- Experience in hotel or resort operations, including front office, housekeeping, and food and beverage management.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to drive guest satisfaction through service quality and operational excellence.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with hotel management systems and basic office software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Prior experience in a senior management role within luxury hotels or resorts is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
