Role & Responsibilities

- Entry-Level (Fresher) Accountabilities:
- Complete core training on US healthcare billing processes, HIPAA guidelines, and practice management software.
- Perform primary entry tasks, including patient demographics entry, charge entry, and basic claims submission.
- Initiate routine outbound calls to US insurance carriers to check claim status using provided call scripts.
- Assist in sorting daily denials, tagging standard denial reason codes, and routing complex cases to senior team members.

- Experienced Accountabilities:
- Independently manage complex Accounts Receivable (AR) follow-ups, claim denials, and formal insurance appeals.
- Audit clean claims before submission to minimize error rates and increase first-pass acceptance rates.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on recurring payment delays and liaise directly with payers to expedite resolution.
- Mentor freshers, conduct quality checks on charge/demo entry, and assist team leads with daily operational reports.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Freshers:
- Diploma/Any Graduate/Post-Graduate degree (Life Science, Commerce,



or Arts background preferred).
- Excellent spoken English with a neutral accent for voice processes.
- Minimum typing speed of 25+ WPM with 95% accuracy for non-voice data entry.
- Basic familiarity with computer operations, MS Office.
- Experienced (1 to 4 Years):
- Prior experience in US Healthcare BPO / RCM (AR Calling, Claims Processing, or Denial Management).
- Proven working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 codes, EOB/ERA interpretation, and clearinghouse error resolutions.
- Solid negotiation and analytical skills to resolve unpaid claims with insurance representatives.
- Familiarity with billing software (e.g., eClinicalWorks, AdvancedMD, Kareo,Nextgen) and willingness to work in night/flexible shifts.
