We’re hiring a Founder’s Office Associate – Technical Programs at Shoonya Recycling, based in Ghaziabad, Delhi NCR.

This is not a typical founder’s office role.

We’re looking for someone with a Chemistry / Chemical Engineering background who can work closely with the founders and help drive some of our most key technical and scale-up projects—from experiments and data analysis to pilot projects and commercial execution.

What you’ll work onYou will operate at the intersection of technology, R&D; and execution, including:

- Project-managing technical R&D; and scale-up programs
- Working closely with scientists, process engineers and external technical partners
- Tracking experiments, test results, timelines, dependencies and deliverables
- Reviewing lab data and converting results into actionable insights
- Building and analysing material balances, process datasets and techno-commercial models
- Coordinating testing with internal teams and external laboratories
- Managing pilot-scale projects—from planning and vendor coordination to installation, trials and performance tracking
- Preparing technical dashboards, project trackers and decision notes for the founders
- Following up aggressively across teams to ensure projects actually move forward
- Supporting evaluation of new technologies, equipment, vendors and partnerships
- Taking ownership of high-priority, ambiguous projects that don't neatly belong to one function

Who we're looking forIdeally, you have:
- 2–3 years of experience, preferably in a startup, deep-tech company,



chemical/process industry, engineering consultancy or similar fast-moving environment
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Metallurgy or a closely related discipline
- Strong analytical ability—you should be comfortable working with experimental data, Excel and numbers
- Enough technical understanding to have meaningful conversations with scientists and engineers
- Strong project-management and follow-through skills
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High ownership and comfort working directly with founders

You do not need to be the deepest technical expert in the room.

You do need to be someone who can understand the technical problem, ask the right questions, organise the information, crunch the data and make sure the project gets executed.

About Shoonya RecyclingShoonya is building technology and infrastructure for urban mining and critical mineral recovery from waste streams.

We work across advanced recycling, material recovery, AI-enabled sorting, process development and scale-up.

This role will provide unusually broad exposure to R&D;, engineering, plant scale-up, strategy and company building.
