Role Description The Financial Counsellor is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The role involves discussing with patients and families to explain treatment costs, packages, and payment options in clear, empathetic language.

The Financial

Counsellor will prepare and review estimates, track payments, coordinate with billing and front office teams, and assist patients with insurance or financing processes where applicable. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, responding to cost-related queries, providing guidance on budgeting for treatment, and ensuring transparent communication about all charges.



The role also requires collaborating with clinical and administrative staff to support a smooth patient journey and adherence to organizational policies.

Qualifications

- Strong financial and numerical skills, including basic accounting, cost estimation, and familiarity with billing processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and sensitive manner.
- Customer service and counseling skills, including active listening, conflict resolution, and patient-centric support.
- Proficiency with office software and hospital information systems, including spreadsheets, billing software, and electronic records.
- Attention to detail, reliability in documentation, and ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant experience in healthcare or IVF settings is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru (Yelahanka), with a collaborative mindset and adherence to ethical and confidentiality standards.
