Job Location: Ivory Coast, West Africa

As a Finance Controller, you will partner with business and functional leaders to provide financial stewardship, enhance business performance, and support decision-making through accurate financial insights and analysis. The role is responsible for ensuring financial transparency, driving profitability, strengthening governance, and enabling business growth through effective planning, controls, risk management, and financial leadership. You will be expected to translate business decisions into financial outcomes while fostering a high-performing finance function that supports the organization's strategic objectives.

Job Responsibilities

Business Financial Insights

- Drive financial planning, analysis, and business performance management.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure accurate financial and management reporting.

Risk Management

- Identify and monitor key business and financial risks.
- Recommend and implement risk mitigation measures.

Controls, Compliance & Assurance

- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Strengthen internal controls and governance processes.
- Manage internal and external audits.

Treasury Management

- Manage banking relationships and funding requirements.
- Support working capital and liquidity management.

Capital Expenditure (Capex)

- Evaluate capex proposals and provide recommendations.
- Monitor project performance and returns on investment.

Reporting & Process Excellence

- Deliver timely MIS, budgeting, and forecasting reports.




- Drive process improvements and reporting efficiencies.

Capability Building

- Develop finance team capabilities and leadership pipeline.
- Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Experience

- 10-12 years of progressive finance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within FMCG or a related industry.
- Experience in Commercial Finance, Business Finance, and FP&A; roles.
- Exposure to financial controls, audit management, treasury, and business partnering.
- Experience with SAP OTC and RTR modules is preferred.

Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Solid understanding of financial and management accounting principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Knowledge of treasury and banking operations will be an advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to influence business outcomes.
