nShift Timings - UK Shift (12:30 to 10/1:30 to 11 PM IST)

nQualification - CA OR ACCA is a must

nExperience - Min 5+ years in UK region into Finance role.

nPosition Overview – Finance Controller

nThe Finance Controller is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end financial management and control of the business, ensuring accurate reporting, strong governance, and effective financial planning. The role provides leadership across cash management, budgeting and forecasting, operational finance, month-end accounting, and statutory compliance while partnering with senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making. As a key member of the finance team, the Finance Controller drives financial discipline, process improvements, and operational excellence to support business growth and performance.

nRoles & Responsibilities

nFinancial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

- Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles across the business.

- Partner with operational and senior stakeholders to develop accurate budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

- Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, providing variance analysis and actionable recommendations.

- Support strategic decision-making through financial modelling and performance analysis.
n

nFinancial Reporting & Management Accounting

- Prepare and review monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
n
- Manage month-end close activities, including journal postings, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and financial analysis.
n
- Provide meaningful financial insights and commentary to management on business performance.
n
- Maintain the integrity of financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

nCash Flow & Working Capital Management

- Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
n
- Monitor cash movements and working capital performance to support business objectives.
n
- Identify opportunities to improve cash management and financial efficiency.
n

nAccounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Oversight

- Oversee AP and AR processes, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and within agreed timelines.
n
- Monitor debtor balances and support effective credit control and collections activities.
n
- Review payment cycles and supplier balances to ensure efficient working capital management.
n

nAudit & Compliance

n

n
- Support statutory audit activities and act as a key contact for auditors where required.
n
- Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards, financial regulations, and internal policies.
n
- Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation in a timely manner.
n
- Assist in strengthening internal controls and governance processes.

nStakeholder Management

- Build strong relationships with senior management and operational teams.

- Present financial information in a clear and concise manner to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

- Provide financial guidance and challenge where appropriate to improve business performance.

nProcess Improvement

- Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, controls, and reporting.

- Drive standardization, efficiency, and continuous improvement across finance operations.

- Support finance transformation and automation initiatives where applicable.

nSkills & Experience

n

- Completed accounting qualification (ACCA or CA).
n
- Solid understanding of financial controls, governance, and risk management.
n
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
n
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and communicate financial information effectively.
