nJob Purpose

nTo lead the finance and commercial activities of the manufacturing plant, ensuring strong financial controls, accurate plant accounting, cost management,

nworking-capital optimization, statutory compliance and timely MIS for management decision-making.

nKey Responsibilities

nManage complete plant finance and commercial accounting operations.

nHandle plant P&L;, balance sheet schedules, month-end closing and financial reporting.

nDrive plant costing, product costing, variance analysis and cost control.

nMonitor RM, WIP and finished-goods inventory valuation and reconciliation.

nTrack and control working capital, receivables, payables and inventory.

nPrepare and analyse plant MIS, budgets, forecasts and monthly financial performance.

nMonitor actual vs budget, identify variances and recommend corrective actions.

nEnsure proper accounting of CAPEX, fixed assets, depreciation and project expenditure.

nReview vendor/customer ledgers, ageing, provisions, accruals and reconciliations.

nCoordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants and corporate finance team.

nEnsure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax and other applicable statutory requirements,



in coordination with the taxation team.

nSupport GST reconciliations, audits, assessments and litigation-related requirements.

nEstablish and monitor financial controls, SOPs and commercial processes at the plant.

nCoordinate closely with Production, PPC, Purchase, Stores, Sales and HR on financial and commercial matters.

nIdentify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement and working-capital optimization.

nEnsure effective ERP/SAP-based accounting and reporting.

nCandidate Profile

nQualification: CA / CMA preferred; MBA Finance / M.Com / B.Com with robust manufacturing finance experience may also be considered.

nExperience: 8–15 years in Plant Finance / Commercial / Factory Accounts, preferably from a manufacturing environment.

nStrong hands-on experience in plant accounting, costing, P&L;, balance sheet, MIS and working capital.

nGood exposure to GST, taxation, audits and statutory compliance.

nExperience in manufacturing cost accounting and inventory valuation is essential.

nSAP/ERP experience preferred.

nStrong Excel, analytical and financial reporting skills.
