Candidates should have robust expertise in at least one of the following domains:
- RF and Microwave Electronics
- Satellite and Space Electronics
- Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and verify FPGA-based digital systems for aerospace, satellite, RF, SDR, and defence applications.
- Develop RTL designs using Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL.
- Implement high-speed digital signal-processing architectures including:
- Digital up/down conversion
- NCO/DDS
- FIR/IIR filtering
- Decimation/interpolation
- FFT and spectrum processing
- High-speed data acquisition and processing
- Interface FPGAs with high-speed ADCs, DACs, RF transceivers, processors, and memory devices.
- Work with high-speed interfaces such as JESD204B/JESD204C, DDR, Ethernet, SPI, I²C, UART, LVDS, and other digital interfaces.
- Develop FPGA architectures for Software Defined Radio (SDR), electronic warfare, satellite communication,
signal intelligence, and RF systems.
- Implement real-time signal-processing pipelines and optimize designs for throughput, latency, resource utilization, and timing closure.
- Perform FPGA simulation, functional verification, debugging, synthesis, place-and-route, and timing analysis.
- Work with FPGA development tools such as AMD Xilinx Vivado/Vitis or equivalent tools from other FPGA vendors.
- Perform FPGA and hardware bring-up, debugging, and system-level integration.
- Use laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and protocol analyzers for hardware/FPGA debugging.
- Collaborate with hardware, RF, embedded software, mechanical, and systems engineering teams.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including FPGA architecture documents, RTL documentation, interface specifications, test procedures, and verification reports.
- Contribute to the complete product development lifecycle from architecture and prototyping through qualification and production.
Required Skills (atleast three)
Candidates should have strong expertise in at least three of the following:
- Strong knowledge of FPGA architecture and RTL design.
- Hands-on experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL.
- Experience with AMD Xilinx, Intel/Altera, or other FPGA platforms.
