1. Company Overview Mid-October 2026; earlier availability preferred JRUAV Limited is a joint venture between Tembo Defence Products (India) and JR UAV Europe S.r.l. (Italy). The company is establishing India's first dedicated manufacturing facility for UAV servo actuators and Radio Control systems under the Make-in-India framework, serving the low altitude economy, defence and aerospace customers.
2. Position Summary The Factory Manager is the senior operational leader of a new, defence-grade electronics and electromechanical manufacturing plant. The incumbent will take the facility from fit-out to production-live in Q3 2026 and into stable serial production thereafter, with full accountability for output, people, safety, statutory compliance, materials, maintenance, security and plant cost. During the technology-transfer period, the Factory Manager will host overseas partner engineers, chair the weekly manufacturing-readiness review, and submit the evidence-based recommendation for production release. The position is expected to grow into Head of Manufacturing as additional product lines are added.

3. Key Responsibilities

3.1 Plant Operations • Own the master production schedule, daily production governance and on-time delivery to the finished-goods hand-over point • Plan line and cell capacity on demonstrated plant performance; set shift patterns within statutory limits • Report weekly to the COO/ CEO and monthly to the Board on output, yield, delivery, cost, headcount, safety and compliance 3.2 Statutory and Regulatory Compliance • Serve as the notified Manager under the Factories Act 1948 and maintain all statutory registers, returns and inspections • Maintain currency of factory licence, fire NOC, pollution-control consents, electrical clearances and applicable industrial-licence conditions • Ensure compliance with applicable labour legislation in coordination with HR

3.3 Environment, Health and Safety • Own the site EHS management system, including risk assessment, permit-to-work, emergency planning and incident investigation • Implement controls specific to the plant: soldering-fume extraction, lead-solder handling, ESD programme, lithium-battery storage and RF test-area access • Deliver zero lost-time injuries with full near-miss reporting

3.4 People and Organisation • Build and lead the plant organisation with HR: supervisors, operators, technicians, stores,



maintenance and EHS • Sponsor the competency and certification system; ensure no uncertified operator works a controlled process • Own attendance, discipline, grievance handling and shop-floor culture

3.5 Security and Controlled Technology • Own physical security, access control and visitor management consistent with a defence-sector facility • Ensure partner technical data is handled strictly within approved controls • Support Legal on export-control compliance for cross-border movement of kits, test units and reference samples

3.6 Materials, Stores and Kitting • Own receipt, bonded and quarantine storage, kitting and issue of CKD/SKD kits and local material • Own inventory accuracy, cycle counting and ERP discipline; enforce configuration change control on all substitutions

3.7 Facilities, Maintenance and Capital Projects • Own facility readiness and utilities, including power, compressed air, HVAC and ESD-area humidity control • Own the maintenance and calibration system for production and test equipment, with Quality • Execute the approved facility CAPEX programme on site: FAT/SAT witness, installation, acceptance and hand-over

3.8 Cost and Budget • Own the plant operating budget and monthly variance reporting • Track manufacturing cost-per-unit by SKU and drive productivity, yield and localisation initiatives

3.9 Quality and Configuration Interface • Ensure production runs only approved product, BOM, firmware, test and packaging revisions • Resource and support Quality for inspection, First Article Inspection, NCR/CAPA and finished-goods release; Quality's release authority is independent of the Factory Manager.

1. Qualifications and Experience Essential • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Production or Industrial Engineering; eligible for Factories Act "Manager" designation in Maharashtra • Minimum 12 years in manufacturing operations, including 5+ years as Plant Head, Factory Manager or Production Head of an electronics,



electromechanical or precision-assembly plant with a workforce of 50 or more • Demonstrated experience launching or substantially expanding a plant (greenfield or brownfield), including licensing, fit-out and workforce build • Direct site-level accountability for Factories Act compliance, EHS and labour matters • Working experience with ISO 9001; exposure to AS9100, IATF 16949 or equivalent • Experience receiving technology or product transfer from an overseas OEM or JV partner, working daily with foreign engineers on site • Practical familiarity with ESD-controlled assembly, IPC soldering standards, configuration-controlled production and ERP-based traceability • Plant opex budget ownership with demonstrated cost-per-unit improvement

Preferred • Defence, aerospace, UAV, telecom or automotive-electronics manufacturing; familiarity with DPIIT industrial licensing and customer security audits • Servo, motor, gear, RC/RF or high-mix electromechanical products • Lean/TPM deployment; Six Sigma Green Belt or above • Marathi language and knowledge of the VasaiVirar-Amravati labour market

Floor-based leadership during launch; visible presence on the shop floor • Composure and decision-making under compressed timelines and incomplete information • Uncompromising on safety, legality and configuration control; able to hold positions with senior stakeholders and partners • Proven ability to build teams from scratch and develop supervisors • Credibility with international technology partners and with statutory authorities • Personal ownership of the production-live commitment
