Role & responsibilities

- Mine India's export databases (DGFT, EXIM Bank, APEDA) and global trade intelligence tools (Trade Map/ITC, Volza, Zauba, Panjiva) to identify high-potential product-country combinations across our 5 categories

- Build country-wise opportunity matrices ranking markets by size, growth rate, competitive intensity, and ease of entry

- Track import tariffs, duties, and regulatory requirements per target market (BIS, CE, FDA, phytosanitary certification, etc.)

- Benchmark competitors other Indian exporters in our categories, their pricing, positioning, and target geographies

- Monitor demand signals: construction booms, infrastructure spending, F&B; import trends in target regions

- Turn raw data into clear, decision-ready reports and dashboards for leadership and the BD team

- Work closely with the BD Manager your research sets the target list; their field feedback sharpens your next report

Preferred candidate profile





- Bachelor's/Master's in Economics, Commerce, International Business, or related field (MBA – International Business is a strong plus, not mandatory)

- Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets at an advanced level; exposure to Power BI or similar tools is a plus

- Naturally curious about global trade, geopolitics, and market dynamics — reads the news and asks "what does this mean for our business?"

- Strong written communication — you'll be creating reports leadership acts on, so clarity matters more than jargon

- No prior export experience required — we'll teach you the trade-data tools. We're hiring for analytical rigor and hunger to learn, not a finished rsum

- Freshers with a robust academic project in trade/economics are encouraged to apply
