Role Overview

We are looking for an AI/ML & Python Backend Engineer with robust experience in time-series analytics, machine learning, industrial IoT, and real-time data processing. The role involves developing ML solutions for industrial equipment monitoring, anomaly detection, forecasting, predictive maintenance, and operational analytics. The candidate will also build scalable Python/FastAPI backend services and integrate ML models with Azure cloud and data services.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze time-series, telemetry, sensor, and industrial equipment data to identify trends, anomalies, and performance patterns.
- Develop and deploy ML models for anomaly detection, regression, forecasting, predictive maintenance, and equipment health monitoring.
- Perform feature engineering, model evaluation, optimization, and model deployment using Python and ML frameworks.
- Develop scalable FastAPI-based REST APIs for ML models and data services.
- Implement real-time communication and asynchronous processing using WebSockets and Python.
- Design and integrate data pipelines for collecting, processing, and transforming industrial data.
- Integrate solutions with Azure services, Azure SQL/PostgreSQL, Azure ML, and other cloud data platforms.
- Support Power BI dashboards and data visualization for operational and analytical insights.
- Work with industrial IoT protocols and systems such as MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus, and SCADA.
- Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and DevOps practices.
- Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and domain teams to deliver scalable industrial analytics solutions.





Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong programming experience in Python with hands-on experience in FastAPI, REST APIs, JSON, SQL, and asynchronous programming.
- Solid understanding of Machine Learning, scikit-learn, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Hands-on experience with time-series analytics, forecasting, anomaly detection, regression, and predictive maintenance.
- Experience working with sensor, telemetry, industrial IoT, or equipment data.
- Knowledge of Azure services, Azure SQL/PostgreSQL, Azure OpenAI, and cloud-based data engineering concepts.
- Experience with data visualization and Power BI.
- Familiarity with React, Git, Docker, and CI/CD/DevOps practices.
- Good understanding of API authentication and real-time data communication.
- Knowledge of Azure Machine Learning, Azure IoT Hub, Azure Data Factory, or Synapse Analytics is an advantage.
- Exposure to MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus, SCADA, Digital Twin concepts, React, and WebSockets is a plus.
- Experience in industrial energy systems or predictive maintenance solutions will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate

- Kovilpatti, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
