Our venues are designed to host a wide range of occasions, including weddings, receptions, pre-wedding functions, Garba celebrations, cultural programmes, corporate events, social gatherings and other large-scale experiences. We work with clients, event planners, decorators, caterers, production teams, artists and other partners to develop experiences that reflect each occasion and its requirements. Our approach combines venue management, event coordination, creative presentation and on-ground execution to ensure that every event receives careful attention to detail.

As Aavkar continues to grow, we are building a professional team that can help us deliver consistently high standards across our venues and events. The upcoming Garba 2026 and wedding season from November 2026 to March 2027 will be an important period for the business, with a strong focus on weddings, cultural celebrations and large-scale events.

We are expanding our team and looking for an experienced, energetic and highly organised Event Manager who can take ownership of events from planning through execution and contribute to the continued growth of Aavkar.

About the Role:

The Event & Presentation Designer will be responsible for developing creative concepts, event visuals, client presentations, mood boards, design proposals and marketing materials for upcoming events.

This role is ideal for a designer who can take a rough idea and transform it into a polished, visually compelling presentation that helps clients understand and visualise the final event.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create professional presentations and design proposals for weddings, Garba events and other celebrations.
- Develop event themes, concepts, visual directions and creative ideas.
- Create mood boards, concept boards and visual references.
- Develop presentation decks for client meetings and internal planning.




- Create décor concepts and visual layouts based on event requirements.
- Develop stage, entrance, backdrop, seating, ceiling and overall venue décor concepts.
- Prepare design presentations showing how proposed concepts can be executed at the venue.
- Collaborate with the event management and execution teams to ensure designs are practical and achievable.
- Modify concepts based on client feedback and project requirements.
- Create promotional creatives for events, social media and marketing campaigns when required.
- Maintain consistency in branding, typography, layouts and visual identity.
- Research new trends, materials, décor styles and event design concepts.
- Convert creative ideas into clear and professional presentations for clients.
- Assist in developing reusable design templates and presentation formats for future projects.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- 1–4 years of experience in graphic design, event design, presentation design, interior/event décor design or a related field.
- Strong visual sense and creativity.
- Excellent knowledge of presentation design.
- Strong understanding of typography, composition, layouts and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to create polished and professional client-facing presentations.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to understand a concept and develop it into a complete visual direction.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work within deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Software Skills: Strong working knowledge of one or more of the following:

- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Canva
- PowerPoint
- Google Slides
- 3D design and visualisation software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Blender or similar tools

Experience creating 3D designs and visualisations for customised event setups, décor concepts, stages, entrances, backdrops, seating arrangements and other production elements will be considered highly valuable.



These designs should help clients visualise the proposed setup and help the internal production team understand the concept, dimensions and execution requirements. Knowledge of additional design or 3D software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Blender or similar tools will be considered an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with wedding decorators, event companies, hospitality brands or interior/design studios.
- Experience creating wedding or event décor concepts.
- Understanding of Indian wedding décor and cultural events.
- Experience creating large-scale event presentations.
- Knowledge of materials, fabrication and practical décor execution.
- Experience creating social media creatives and marketing material.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating presentation and conceptual design skills.

What We Are Looking For: We are looking for a designer who can think beyond simply making something look attractive.

You should be able to understand an event brief, develop a creative concept, visualise the experience and communicate the idea clearly through a professional presentation.

The ideal candidate is creative, curious, detail-oriented and willing to experiment with new ideas while keeping practicality, budget and execution in mind.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time, on-site position. During the event season, the role may occasionally require extended working hours depending on project deadlines and event requirements.

The primary season for this position will be:

Garba 2026 and the wedding/event season from November 2026 to March 2027.
