We are looking for an experienced and capable Estimation Engineer / Senior Estimation Engineer to join our construction team. The candidate should have strong experience in estimation, tendering, quantity verification, AutoCAD drawing checking, site measurements, contractor negotiations and current market rates.

The person should be capable of independently handling the complete estimation and tendering process for large-scale apartment, hotel and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed BOQ, quantity take-offs and project cost estimates for civil, finishing and related works.
- Review and verify architectural, structural and MEP drawings, including checking drawings in AutoCAD.
- Conduct and verify physical site measurements and ensure quantities are accurate.
- Prepare tender documents and invite, evaluate and compare contractor quotations.
- Analyse contractor quotations and negotiate rates, quantities, terms and conditions.
- Have a strong understanding of current construction material and labour market rates.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Verify contractor bills and measurements against approved BOQs and actual site work.
- Coordinate closely with architects, consultants, project managers, site engineers and contractors.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, quotations, rate analyses,



variations and project costs.
- Take complete responsibility for project estimation and commercial coordination from the initial stage through execution.

Candidate Profile

- 10–12 years of relevant experience in construction estimation and quantity surveying.
- Strong experience in apartment, hotel, villa or large residential/commercial projects.
- Excellent knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, rate analysis and tendering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, particularly for checking drawings and quantities.
- Strong knowledge of construction material, labour and prevailing market rates.
- Proven ability to negotiate effectively with contractors and suppliers.
- Should be able to independently handle the estimation and commercial aspects of a project.
- Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
- Age preferably below 50 years.
- Candidates with experience handling complete projects from estimation/tendering through execution will be preferred.

The ideal candidate should have the ability to check drawings, verify quantities at site, prepare and analyse tenders, understand market rates, negotiate with contractors and take ownership of the overall project estimation and commercial process.
