Role Description This is a full-time remote Estimator role focused on supporting energy and industrial projects from early concept through pre-FEED and FEED stages. The Estimator will build and refine conceptual cost estimates using 3D models, quantity takeoffs, and standardized cost databases, ensuring accuracy and consistency across multiple projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing engineering drawings and layouts, extracting quantities, developing cost breakdowns, and preparing estimate summaries and supporting documentation.

The Estimator will collaborate with engineering, project management, and client stakeholders to clarify scope, assess risks,



and evaluate design alternatives from a cost perspective. The role also involves updating and maintaining estimating tools, participating in internal quality reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of estimating methods and templates.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong estimating and analytical skills, including experience with conceptual and detailed cost estimating for energy, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should possess technical skills related to 3D modeling and quantity takeoff tools, as well as proficiency with spreadsheets and cost databases.
- Candidates should possess project and engineering understanding, including familiarity with EPC workflows, construction methods, and typical scopes for process, mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines.
- Candidates should possess communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to present cost insights clearly, document assumptions, and work effectively with remote and cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail, ability to manage multiple estimates, and comfort working with incomplete or evolving design information.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, finance, or a related field is preferred; relevant industry experience in estimating may substitute for formal education.
- Experience with energy or industrial projects, and familiarity with standard estimating methodologies and industry benchmarks, is highly beneficial.
