Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced ERP Functional Consultant – Oracle EBS with strong expertise in understanding business processes, gathering and analyzing requirements, process mapping, ERP implementation, customization, testing, training, support, and maintenance.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to understand existing processes, define future-state requirements, and translate business needs into effective ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

· Understand business processes and gather detailed business and functional requirements from stakeholders.

· Analyze existing business processes and prepare AS-IS process documentation.

· Define and document TO-BE processes aligned with ERP best practices.

· Perform AS-IS vs. TO-BE gap analysis and recommend appropriate solutions.

· Prepare functional specifications and support ERP module configuration and customization.

· Work with technical teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.

· Participate in Oracle EBS implementation, customization, support, and maintenance activities.

· Configure and validate ERP modules based on business requirements.

· Review business workflows and recommend process improvements.

· Develop test scenarios, test cases, and testing plans for functional requirements.

· Conduct functional testing, integration testing,



and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

· Identify, analyze, document, and resolve functional issues during implementation and production support.

· Coordinate with technical consultants and development teams for issue resolution.

· Prepare user manuals, process documentation, and training materials.

· Conduct end-user training and knowledge-transfer sessions.

· Provide post-implementation and production support.

· Work with stakeholders to ensure successful adoption and utilization of ERP solutions.

· Support change management and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications The candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and one of the following qualifications:

· B.E. / B.Tech

· MCA

· M.Sc. (IT/CS)

· Chartered Accountant (CA)

· MBA in Finance – for Finance Functional Consultant roles

Required Skills & Experience

· Minimum 5 years of experience in ERP/Oracle EBS functional consulting.

· Strong understanding of business process flows and functional requirements.

· Hands-on experience in AS-IS and TO-BE process mapping.

· Experience in ERP implementation, customization, support, and maintenance.

· Strong understanding of functional configuration and ERP processes.

· Experience preparing functional specifications and requirement documents.

· Solid experience in functional testing, UAT, and defect management.





· Experience in preparing training materials and conducting end-user training.

· Ability to work closely with technical teams, business users, and project stakeholders.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

· Experience handling production support and maintenance projects.

· Good understanding of ERP best practices and business process optimization.

· Experience working with government, public-sector, or large enterprise ERP environments is an advantage.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is an experienced Oracle EBS Functional Consultant who can independently understand business processes, gather and analyze requirements, perform AS-IS/TO-BE mapping, support ERP implementation and customization, conduct testing and UAT, and provide effective user training and post-implementation support.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
