Role & responsibilities

- Competence in the fields of Environmental, Safety, Health & Sustainability, Environment Management, Environmental Law, Legal & Statutory Compliances.

- Responsible for Obtaining all necessary Statutory clearances including Environmental Clearance (EC), Consent for Establishment (CFE), Consent for Operation (CFO), CPCB-PWP-EPR Registration and Permissions for ground water and surface water usage, Fire License.

- Ensure timely submission of Compliances reports for EC, CFE, CFO, HW,BMW and all required Compliances at TN State
- Implement environmental mitigation and pollution control measures in coordination with relevant deparments.

- Oversee Air, Water, Soil and Noise Monitoring through 3rd party as well as self and online systems such as CAAQMS and OCEMS
- Coordinate with departments for sustainability data reporting, including water usage and emissions

- Liasioning with all Statutory authoruties and other relevant agencies to ensure compliances and maintain good relationships.




- Organise training sessions and awareness programs on environmental issues for plant personnel and Safety Training Program to all workmen and Staffs

- Development of SOPs, HIRA, JSA, safety data sheets (SDS) and emergency response plans
- Conduct progress meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams in view of Protected working hours and safety compliances

- Preparation of daily, weekly and Monthly site progress reports and Quartely, Half yearly and Annual reports
- Conduct safety observation rounds and Improve the confidence in getting Near Miss reports with proper improvements in working site

- Ensure safety standards and compliance on-site.
- Frequent inspection and site patroling of Site works and report making.
- Ensure Safe working zones, implementation of penalty / rectification of safety compliances.

- Fire Safety training to the team.
- Supervision of implementation of Fire Hydrant lines in all required buildings.
- Supervision of Implementation of all safety standards
