QuID currently serves a growing network of retailers/MSMEs and anchor businesses, and is focused on building a scalable B2B credit and payments ecosystem.

The Role

We're looking for an Engineering Manager who thinks like a product owner and operates like a founder. This isn't a "manage the backlog and run standups" role — you'll own outcomes, not just delivery. You'll sit close to anchors, retailers, credit/risk, and compliance teams to understand what actually moves the needle on supply chain finance embedded credit, working capital unlock across onboarding (KYC), origination, loan management, compliance etc. — then rally your team to ship it, fast with a high bar for quality, adoption and scale.

You leverage AI across the stages from ideation to adoption.

If you're energized by ambiguity, and get genuine satisfaction from shipping something every week and seeing it adopted in days, this role is built for you.

What You'll Do

- Own a product area end-to-end (e.g., embedded credit/lending journeys, credit product construct, loan lifecycle, anchor-retailer onboarding, credit underwriting, operations process and payments) — from roadmap to production to post-launch iteration.
- Partner directly with Product, Risk, Compliance,

and Ops teams to translate ambiguous business problems ( into shippable engineering bets — often without a fully-baked spec.
- Lead a team of 6–8 engineers: hiring, onboarding, coaching, and pushing them to do the best work of their careers. You set the bar on both quality and pace.
- Get your hands dirty — involve and guide on architecture/design, review PRs, jump into incidents, prototype when it unblocks the team faster to define the problem at hand.
- Make build-vs-buy and scope calls under time pressure, biasing toward the 80% solution that ships this week over the 100% solution that ships next quarter — while being disciplined about where regulatory correctness cannot flex.
- Own reliability and regulatory-grade rigor where it matters — as a regulated entity, speed never comes at the cost of correctness in ledgers, reconciliation, compliance, or auditability.
- Drive metrics that matter to the business: AUM unlocked, credit decisioning turnaround time, retailer/anchor onboarding conversion, uptime on payment and lending rails — along with execution predictability and high bar for shipping.
- Create urgency without burning people out — hustle culture here means bias-to-action and ownership. You'll be expected to model sustainable intensity, not chaos.
- Bring AI into how your team actually builds — push adoption of AI coding assistants, code review copilots, and eval/testing tools so your team ships more with the same headcount. You lead by example here, not by mandate.
- Champion AI-native product thinking — identify where LLMs, ML-based risk scoring, document/OCR intelligence, or agentic workflows can meaningfully improve underwriting speed, fraud detection, or retailer/anchor experience, and know when not to reach for AI.

What We're Looking For
- 8+ years in software engineering, with 2+ years directly managing a team of 6-8 engineers
- Prior experience at a fintech, NBFC, payments company, or lending/credit platform — you understand ledgers, reconciliation, idempotency in a money-movement or lending context.
- A genuine product mindset:

you've shipped features you personally scoped or influenced, not just executed against someone else's spec.
- Comfortable operating in a high-ambiguity, resource-constrained environment — you've worked at a startup or scaled a 0-to-1 product before.
- Track record of shipping quick without compromising on the things that actually matter (security, data integrity, regulatory compliance and quality).
- Strong technical judgment — you can still read a system design doc and challenge it, even if you're not writing production code daily.
- Bias toward action: you'd rather ship an imperfect v1 and iterate than wait for a perfect spec.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Risk, Compliance, Credit, Operations or Finance teams is a strong plus.
- Exposure to B2B commerce, supply chain finance, or embedded-lending products is a bonus, not a requirement — what matters more is fintech/regulated-environment instincts.
- Genuine AI fluency — you use AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) in your own workflow and push your team to do the same; you can speak intelligently about where LLMs/ML add real product value in credit, risk, or fraud versus where they're overkill.
- Experience in tech stack: Frontend: Next.js/React/MUI; Middleware: API based - FastAPI/Gateways; Backend: Go/NodeJS/Python/Typescript; Data: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, S3; Infra: AWS + Security controls; Mobile App (Android and iOS)

What Success Looks Like in 90 Days
- You've shipped at least one meaningful improvement to your product area's core metric.
- Your team trusts you to make fast calls and unblock them — you're not a bottleneck.
- You've built working relationships with Product, Risk, and at least one external-facing team (Sales/Ops/Support).
- You can articulate the roadmap for your area for the next 2 quarters, backed by data, not just intuition.

Why Join Us
- Ownership from day one, at a company building a genuinely new category — a unified B2B credit and payments OS — no layers of process between you and shipping.
- Direct impact on the supply chain finance and growth of 85,000+ real retailers and MSMEs, and 40+ anchor businesses.
- A front-row seat to building products and engineering culture - across lending and payments businesses - for an engineering leader in fintech.
- A team that moves fast, argues hard, and ships harder.**
