Key Responsibilities:
- Cost negotiation for forging and machining components.
- RFQ management, supplier evaluation, and localization activities.
- EO change implementation and VA/VE management.
- Cost reduction through process study and value engineering.
- Price change management related to RM, forex, and process variations.
- PO release and approval coordination.
- Supplier onboarding and TCI management.
- Business plan support, CapEx monitoring, and expense control.
- Zero-Based Costing and cost analysis.
Requirements:
- BE/ B.Tech (Mechanical / Automobile / Production).
- 3-8 years of experience in Automotive Parts Purchasing.
- Robust exposure to Forging & Machining commodities.
- Experience in cost negotiation, localization, supplier management, and cost reduction initiatives.
