Key Responsibilities

- Conduct electrical and energy due diligence at client locations.

- Understand power distribution architecture, LT panels, DG, UPS, transformers and SLDs.

- Identify and assess energy meters, submeters, CT/PT and meter connectivity.

- Support energy meter installation, configuration and commissioning.

- Handle CT/PT ratio configuration and meter data validation.

- Support installation and commissioning of IoT sensors such as IAQ, Temperature & Humidity, Occupancy/People Count, Water Meter and other smart-building sensors.

- Have basic knowledge of RS485, Modbus and IoT gateways for meter connectivity and troubleshooting.

- Configure basic IP, LAN, Wi-Fi and router/network settings and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

- Validate meter/sensor data and support energy dashboard configuration and verification.

- Understand building-wise, meter-wise and equipment-wise energy consumption.

- Coordinate with clients, facility teams, electrical teams, BMS teams and internal implementation teams.

- Understand basic CAFM concepts such as assets, PPM, breakdowns and work orders.

Must-Have Skills

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

- 3+ years of relevant experience





- Strong practical knowledge of electrical systems and energy meters

- Hands-on experience with meter installation/configuration

- Positive understanding of CT/PT and electrical measurements

- Ability to read electrical SLDs

- Experience in electrical/energy site assessment and commissioning

- Experience with sensor installation

- Basic knowledge of RS485, Modbus and IoT gateways

- Understanding of energy dashboards and energy KPIs

- Knowledge of BMS and SCADA systems

- Good communication, troubleshooting and client coordination skills

Good to Have

- Schneider Electric meters / EcoStruxure

- Smart building / energy management experience

- Basic CAFM knowledge

Ideal Candidate A practical Electrical Engineer with 3+ years of experience who understands energy meters, CT/PT and power architecture, can handle client-side assessment and installation activities, configure meters, install sensors, validate energy data, understands BMS/SCADA systems and can interpret energy dashboards. The candidate should be comfortable coordinating with clients and facility teams and have a practical, problem-solving approach.
