We are looking for a technically strong Embedded Systems & Instrument Integration Engineer to work on the development and integration of Labicon Software and ViSetu Industrial IoT / Embedded Monitoring Devices.
The role involves working directly with electronic instruments, laboratory equipment, embedded devices, communication interfaces and software applications to establish reliable Instrument-to-PC / Instrument-to-Server / Device-to-Cloud communication.
This is a hands-on technical role involving coding, communication protocols, testing, debugging, device configuration and customer/application-level integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate communication between laboratory instruments and Labicon software.
- Work with instruments such as:
- Analytical balances
- Weighing systems
- pH meters
- Temperature / humidity instruments
- Laboratory equipment
- Industrial instruments and controllers
- Understand and implement communication protocols such as:
- RS232 / RS485
- USB
- Ethernet
- TCP/IP
- Modbus RTU / TCP
- HTTP / REST API
- Wi-Fi communication
- Develop instrument communication interfaces and data acquisition routines.
- Analyse instrument communication manuals, command sets and protocol documents.
- Develop, test and troubleshoot Labicon instrument integration modules.
- Work on ViSetu Embedded devices for sensor data acquisition and communication.
- Interface sensors, transmitters, meters and industrial instruments with embedded hardware.
- Configure and test serial, USB, Ethernet and wireless communication.
- Debug communication issues between instrument, embedded device, PC and server.
- Support development of data logging, transmission and acknowledgement mechanisms.
- Perform hardware/software integration testing.
- Prepare technical test procedures and integration documentation.
- Assist the application/support team during difficult instrument integration cases.
- Participate in development of new product features and customized integrations.
- Willing to Travel all over india / Across globe

Candidate Profile
- Diploma / BE / BTech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, Industrial Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics or related discipline.
- 1–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Freshers with strong practical embedded/electronics knowledge may also be considered.
- Good troubleshooting and logical problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable reading technical manuals and communication protocols.
- Willing to work hands-on with electronic hardware and instruments.
- Positive communication skills and ability to work with the R&D; and application teams.
