Embroidery Punching Designer – Key Responsibilities

- Create embroidery punching/programming designs as per buyer requirements and artwork.
- Convert artwork/designs into embroidery machine-readable formats.
- Select appropriate stitch types, density, underlay, thread, colors and sequencing.
- Prepare punching programs for different fabrics, styles and garment constructions.
- Ensure correct placement, dimensions and stitch quality.
- Coordinate with Design, Sampling, Production and Quality teams.
- Conduct trial/sample runs and make necessary corrections.
- Minimize thread consumption, stitch count and production time without compromising quality.
- Maintain embroidery design files, revisions and approved samples.




- Troubleshoot issues such as thread breaks, puckering, registration problems, poor density and distortion.
- Follow customer specifications, quality standards and production timelines.
- Maintain confidentiality and proper control of design files.

Qualifications Certification/course in Embroidery Punching/Digitizing preferred.

Software SkillsKnowledge of embroidery digitizing software such as:

- Wilcom
- Tajima

2–5 years of relevant experience in embroidery punching/digitizing, preferably in the garment/textile industry.
