We are looking for an Embedded R&D; & Product Development Engineer to join our product development team and work on the next generation of ViSetu Embedded Industrial IoT Devices.
The engineer will be involved in the complete product development cycle — from embedded coding and electronics interfacing to hardware assembly, testing, debugging and production readiness.
This is a hands-on R&D; position for someone who enjoys building actual products rather than working only on theoretical development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop firmware/software for ViSetu embedded devices.
- Interface microcontrollers with sensors and industrial instruments.
- Develop communication routines for:
- UART
- RS232
- RS485
- Modbus
- I2C
- SPI
- Ethernet
- Wi-Fi
- Develop sensor data acquisition and processing routines.
- Implement device configuration and communication logic.
- Develop reliable data transmission between embedded devices and server/cloud systems.
- Work on device connectivity, error handling and communication recovery.
- Debug firmware and hardware-level problems.
- Perform hardware/software integration.
- Assemble and configure prototype embedded devices.
- Carry out soldering, wiring, connector installation and basic electronics assembly where required.
- Test sensors, communication interfaces and assembled devices.
- Use multimeter, power supply, serial tools and other basic electronics test equipment.
- Perform prototype testing and validation.
- Identify hardware, firmware and communication issues and implement corrective solutions.
- Maintain firmware versions and technical development documentation.
- Prepare devices for field trials and pilot installations.
- Support transition of successfully tested prototypes into repeatable production assemblies.

Candidate Profile
- Diploma / BE / BTech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, Industrial Electronics, Automation,
Mechatronics or related discipline.
- 1–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Freshers with strong embedded/electronics project experience may be considered.
- Strong interest in practical R&D; and product development.
- Good troubleshooting and debugging ability.
- Comfortable working with both software and hardware.
- Ability to understand technical datasheets and circuit diagrams.
- Willingness to work hands-on during prototype development and testing.
